Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a high-growth technology business , part of a wider group , who are seeking to appoint an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join the finance team.
Based in Manchester city centre , you will operate on a hybrid basis with 1 day per week in the office (you will be more office based during handover period).
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Management Accountant who is immediately or short-term available, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment.

Salary / benefits:

£60,000 salary
Hybrid working model (1 day per week in the Manchester city centre office)
Exposure to a growing tech business within a larger group structure

Job Duties:

Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Ownership of the month-end close process , including journals and accruals
Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Support group reporting requirements and wider finance projects
Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight
Assist with audit preparation and year-end processes where required
Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

Who will I report into?

Finance leadership within the group structure (e.g. Financial Controller / Group Finance Team)

When will interviews be taking place?

Interviews will be arranged early May.

Ideal Experience:

Qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
Proven experience in a Management Accountant role
Previous exposure to a technology, SaaS, or high-growth environment desirable
Strong Excel skills and confidence handling large data sets
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
Proactive, organised and comfortable working in an interim capacity
