Management Accountant - 3 month contract Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a successful UK-based organisation who are seeking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant on an initial 3 month contract Working on a hybrid basis, this role is ideal for a technically strong accountant who is looking for a hands-on position within a fast-paced Finance function, with genuine opportunities to develop.
Salary / Benefits
Up to £50,000 plus bonus 3 month contract Hybrid working - up to 2 in the office
Job Duties
Technical Responsibilities
Prepare weekly and monthly management accounts, collaborating with the Finance Manager, Financial Controller and Head of Commercial Finance. Manage cross-business unit monthly journals. Support preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Demonstrate strong understanding of payroll mechanisms including holiday accruals, Apprenticeship Levy and other reporting requirements. Identify opportunities for cross-training within the Management Accounts team to improve resilience. Champion process improvements and drive efficiencies across Finance.
