9-12 month contract £(Apply online only) per day 1-2 days a week on site About the client Morgan Law is seeking an Interim Management Accountant for a subsidiary company of a local authority.

Accountabilities

Lead the management accounting function for the property maintenance service, partnering closely with operational teams to provide financial insight, support decision-making, and strengthen financial accountability. Produce monthly management accounts with clear, meaningful analysis, oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles, and monitor labour cost performance. Maintain the accuracy and integrity of key balance sheet items, ensuring timely and compliant regulatory returns, including subcontractor payments. Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and reporting, acting as a finance systems specialist to enhance data quality and maximise business value. Candidate Requirements

Qualified accountant with strong experience in Management Accounting and Business Partnering, ideally within Repairs in a Housing Association environment. Solid understanding of assets and maintenance-related financials. Proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong systems expertise with a track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives. Campaign Timeline This is an urgent post and is open until filled.
