Management Accountant - Contract (3-6 Months, Temp to Perm Opportunity)

Liverpool City Centre | Hybrid Working (4 days office / 1 day home)

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well?established organisation based in Liverpool city centre , who are looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant on an initial 3-6 month contract , with a genuine opportunity to move into a permanent role .

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Management Accountant who is immediately available or on a short notice period, and keen to join a business where they can add value quickly and potentially secure a longer-term position.

Salary / Rate & Benefits
Competitive daily rate or salary, depending on experience
35-hour working week
Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home

Key Responsibilities
Production of monthly management accounts
Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations and reviews
Supporting the month-end close process
Providing financial analysis and commentary to senior stakeholders
Supporting year-end accounts and the audit process
Identifying and implementing improvements to financial controls and processes

Reporting To
Finance Manager / Financial Controller

Ideal Experience
Must be ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified
Proven experience in a Management Accountant role
Strong Excel skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast?paced environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, adaptable and hands?on approach
