Morgan McKinley are partnered with a global consumer brand looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant. This is a hands-on role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the "investigative" side of finance operations.

This role is an Interim Part Time position fully on site paying £130 - £150 a day doe.

Key Responsibilities

High-volume allocation of customer payments within Sage 200, ensuring absolute accuracy and timeliness.

Investigating unallocated cash, short payments, and debit notes while maintaining clear audit trails.

Reconciling customer accounts and monitoring AR ageing to flag overdue balances.

Managing the shared AR inbox and liaising with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve queries.

Assisting with month-end close, bank transaction postings, and aged debt analysis using Excel.

What We're Looking For

Systems Knowledge: Proven experience using Sage 200 (or a similar ERP) is essential.

Advanced Excel: Ability to use XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and perform complex data manipulation.

Sector Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume, product-based, or retail/e-commerce environment is highly desirable.
