Our client, a leading distribution business based in North Birmingham, is seeking an Interim Plant Controller to join their team and provide critical financial leadership during a key period of transformation.

\nAbout the Role:
\nAs Interim Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the site leadership team with strategic financial insight, robust cost control, and commercial decision-making. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly influence revenue growth and operational efficiency.

\nKey Responsibilities:
\nAct as the finance lead for the plant, partnering closely with operations and commercial teams
\nProvide detailed financial analysis to support pricing, margin, and revenue improvement initiatives
\nDrive cost control and identify performance improvement opportunities
\nPrepare and present monthly management accounts and KPIs
\nBuild strong relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple departments
\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes

\nAbout You:
\nQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
\nProven experience in manufacturing or distribution environments
\nStrong business partnering skills - able to influence non-financial stakeholders
\nCommercially astute with a focus on revenue growth and margin improvement
