£400 per day PAYE

12-Month Assignment

HSBC are currently searching for a Strategy Associate to join their team in London on a 12-month maternity leave cover. The team are seeking a skilled strategy associate to support their strategy function.

This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skillsets and a talent for creating polished, visually compelling presentations that effectively communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations for executive and board-level meetings, turning complex concepts into clear, impactful visuals.
• Collaborate with senior team members to structure and shape strategic narratives.
• Conduct data analysis to support strategic recommendations.
• Quickly synthesize information from multiple sources into concise, professional outputs.
• Support project management on key strategic initiatives.

Experience Required:

• Previous experience in strategy, transaction services, or corporate finance (Big Four or equivalent background preferred).
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with an eye for design and detail.
• Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
