Intermediate Electrical Engineer - Building Services London
We are working with a leading, design-led building services consultancy with a London office that is entering an exciting growth phase. With ambitious plans to double revenue over the next three years, this is a perfect time to join the team and make a real impact.
They are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to support the electrical design team across multiple sectors and project scales. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop technical expertise, contribute to high-quality projects, and progress towards chartership within a fast-growing and supportive environment.
The Opportunity As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will:

\n Produce electrical design drawings, calculations, reports, specifications, and schedules \n
Support compliance with BREEAM and other sustainability legislation \n
Witness test and commission installations to ensure quality and performance \n
Undertake non-intrusive surveys and spatial planning for plant areas \n
Collaborate with senior engineers, associates, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and budget \n
Assist in mentoring junior engineers and contribute to quality checking of outputs \n
Attend and contribute to design and project meetings, liaising effectively with clients and stakeholders \n
Keep up to date with legislation, standards, emerging technologies, and product developments \n
Support the London office in achieving ambitious revenue and growth targets by contributing to high-quality project delivery \n

This is a role where you can take ownership of technical tasks while learning from senior colleagues and contributing to a team-wide growth strategy.
What They're Looking For

\n Engineering degree ; HNC/HND or equivalent considered \n
Alternatively, construction site experience with a completed electrical apprenticeship \n
Ambitious, self-motivated, and a strong team ethic \n
Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills \n
Computer literate with CAD or Revit experience \n
\n
Desirable:
\n
\n Chartered or actively working towards chartership \n
Experience using IES software for thermal analysis \n
Multi-disciplinary understanding of building services \n
Membership of CIBSE or Institution of Engineering and Technology \n
\n
