Interested in working for a leading fit-out contractor? VANRATH are recruiting an Intermediate Estimator to work for a leading fit out contractor based in Dundonald, Northern Ireland. They specialise in creating outstanding interior fit-outs for the commercial, hospitality and retail sectors. The Role: Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to understand scope and requirements Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors Conduct site visits as necessary to assess conditions and gather information Obtain and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers Prepare detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns, and pricing documents Identify potential risks, VE opportunities, and cost-saving options Assist in bid preparation, tender submissions, and client presentations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and construction methods Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure estimates align with project execution Experience: 3-4 years of post-graduate experience as an Estimator or QS Strong knowledge of cost management, estimating, and contract administration Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Evaluate & Procore Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Robert Apps for a confidential discussion Skills: Estimator Construction Fitout Commercial Refurbishment Benefits: DOE + package
