Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid working role for an Intermediate/Senior Electrical Design Engineer. The professional in this role will be responsible for designing electrical systems, producing technical drawings, specifications & schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Daily tasks include creating and reviewing electrical designs, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and completing TDD surveys. The role requires ensuring project deadlines are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering principles
• In-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
• Proficiency in industry-standard software packages for electrical design
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Previous experience in a similar role, within the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) sector
• Full UK driving license
