VNI Finance is exclusively supporting our high-growth, private equity-backed, internationally operating business with the appointment of a newly created Internal Auditor role to join its Group Finance function in Glasgow.Backed by private equity investors, the organisation has experienced significant expansion across multiple international markets and continues to scale through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.As a result, the internal audit and controls environment is evolving, creating an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified ICAS professional looking to make their first move into industry.The OpportunityReporting to the Head of Internal Audit, this role will play an important part in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls across the group.The position offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders across finance and operations, as well as visibility across a complex international business.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of the Group Internal Audit plan across UK and international operationsPerform risk-based internal audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reportingAssess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and governance frameworksIdentify areas for process improvement and control enhancementWork closely with operational and finance stakeholders to ensure audit recommendations are implemented effectivelyContribute to the ongoing development of the internal audit methodology and reporting frameworkProvide insight on risk management and controls in a fast-growing PE-backed environmentCandidate ProfileThe business is ideally seeking a recently qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAS) with strong technical grounding from a leading professional services firm.Typical backgrounds may include:Big 4 / Top 10 trained CA2–3 years post‑qualification experienceExperience within external audit, internal audit, or risk advisoryExposure to large corporates or internationally operating businessesKey attributes include:Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilityAbility to communicate confidently with stakeholders across the businessInterest in controls, governance, and business improvementCommercial curiosity and a desire to understand how a business operates beyond the numbersWhy This Role?Excellent first move from practice into industryHybrid working of 2 days per week in the office, with 20% planned travel across the yearA fantastic platform to progress internally, into other service lines as your career developsA high‑profile and household name, with a strong track record of career developmentExposure to a private equity‑backed growth environmentOpportunity to work closely with senior leadership and international operationsStrong platform for progression into commercial finance, risk, or operational leadership roles #J-18808-Ljbffr
