The role
Were looking for an experienced Internal Recruiter to join our in house recruitment team and play a key role in supporting our nationwide operations.
This is a hands-on, end-to-end recruitment role covering both PAYE and self-employed positions across multiple regions and sectors within the business. Youll work closely with operational leaders, HR, and the wider recruitment team to ensure we attract, onboard, and retain high-quality people who reflect Motorcleans standards and values.
The focus is on quality, fit, and long-term retention, not just filling roles quickly.
What youll be doing
Partnering with Heads of Business and operational managers to understand hiring needs and workforce plans
Creating clear, engaging job adverts that attract the right candidates for operational roles
Sourcing candidates through job boards, referrals, and proactive search
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of reliable, skilled candidates
Managing the full recruitment lifecycle: screening, interviews, feedback, compliance, and onboarding
Coordinating Right to Work checks and contractual documentation in line with UK legislation
Ensuring a positive, professional candidate experience at every stage
Supporting improvements to recruitment processes, onboarding, and retention
About you
Proven experience as an in-house recruiter (agency background also considered)
Comfortable recruiting into operational, fast-paced environments
Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work with teams at all levels
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously
Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
Good working knowledge of UK employment law
Confident using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Teams, and Outlook
A self-starter who takes ownership of their work and looks for ways to improve how recruitment supports the wider business.
