Murray Recruitment are recruiting an Internal Sales Executive for our client based in Lanarkshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop strong relationships with an existing client base.
  • Respond promptly to inbound enquiries, prepare quotations, and provide product availability updates.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and wholesalers to source tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with technical specialists to support customers and promote new technologies.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
  • Negotiate pricing and close sales confidently and professionally.
  • Provide excellent customer service, managing both straightforward and more complex queries.
  • Communicate effectively with customers via phone and email.


Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in internal sales, ideally within automation, control systems, motion/robotics, industrial instrumentation, or digital solutions.
  • Alternatively, a degree in electronics, mechatronics, or process automation will be considered.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • A customer-focused, commercially aware mindset.
  • Technical understanding of industrial or electrical products is desirable.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to offer tailored solutions.


Offering

  • Competitive salary of £30,000 – £40,000 DOE.
  • Annual bonus of up to 7.5%.
  • Salary reviews each December.
