We are now looking for a Veterinary Channel & Commercial Development Manager to support the continued expansion of Oralade® across veterinary distribution, pet retail and emerging sales channels.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of the veterinary sector and a commercial mindset, who wants to help develop partnerships and growth opportunities for a globally recognised animal health brand.


The Opportunity

This role focuses on developing and supporting veterinary distribution channels and commercial partnerships, rather than direct territory sales.

You will work closely with veterinary distributors, buying groups, corporate veterinary networks and key industry partners, helping them understand the benefits of Oralade® Advanced, our trusted veterinary hydration support range, and supporting their efforts to grow the brand within veterinary practices.

Alongside this, you will also help promote and support the exciting new Oralade® Active range, including the innovative Liquid Concentrate sachets — the first product of their kind in the pet hydration category — designed to bring convenient, everyday hydration support to pets through veterinary, pet retail and online channels.


You will collaborate with veterinary partners to help them understand the science and benefits behind Oralade’s hydration technology, supporting education, training and commercial opportunities across the veterinary sector.


Alongside the veterinary channel, you will also help identify and develop new commercial opportunities across pet retail, e-commerce and emerging distribution channels, helping expand Oralade’s reach to pet owners. You will work closely with the Macahl team on commercial strategy, distributor support and key account development, while representing the brand at selected veterinary and pet industry events.

The role offers a mix of partner engagement, commercial development and strategic collaboration, with occasional travel to meet partners and attend industry events both in the UK and internationally.



What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and supporting veterinary distribution partners and commercial relationships
  • Working with distributors, veterinary buying groups and corporate veterinary networks to grow the

Oralade® brand

  • Providing product education and support to distributor teams and key veterinary partners
  • Identifying opportunities to expand Oralade® across pet retail, e-commerce and other commercial channels
  • Supporting commercial strategy and key account development across veterinary and pet sectors
  • Representing Macahl Animal Health at industry exhibitions, veterinary congresses and trade events
  • Collaborating with internal teams on sales growth initiatives, marketing activities and partner support
  • Supporting distributor onboarding and engagement with international partners where required



What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who combines industry understanding with commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.


You may come from a veterinary practice background, veterinary nursing, animal health company or pet industry role, and be interested in developing or growing your commercial career.


Ideal experience includes:

  • Experience working within a veterinary practice, animal health company or pet industry environment
  • Understanding of small animal healthcare and veterinary practice dynamics
  • Experience in business development, distributor management or commercial roles within animal health or the pet sector
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building abilities with veterinary professionals and industry partners
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Organised and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple partnerships
  • Willingness to travel when required for partner meetings and international industry events
