We are looking for an International Engineering Director responsible for leading the planning, management, and optimization of the execution of engineering projects, ensuring the achievement of economic, technical, quality, and schedule objectives.
The position, based in Madrid or Seville, will be part of the Services Directorate, reporting directly to the Engineering Services Directorate and working closely with Project, Division, and Market Management teams.

What will you do?
Lead and coordinate engineering project production and execution teams internationally. Define and monitor economic objectives (margin, productivity, direct and indirect costs) within your area of responsibility. Ensure compliance with contractual commitments in terms of scope, quality, schedule, and cost. Optimize resource planning (staffing, workload vs. production capacity, subcontracting). Establish and oversee procedures, methodologies, and technical production and delivery standards. Work closely with Project Management, Division Management, and Market Management to ensure integrated execution. Lead talent management: team sizing, professional development, training plans, and retention. Drive continuous improvement, operational innovation, and process efficiency. Participate in proposal preparation, risk assessment, and execution strategy definition. Maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, particularly in multicultural and international environments.
What are we looking for?
Education:
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos). MBA or Master’s in Business Management / Project Management is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in engineering firms or technical services within construction companies. Proven experience in production or services management. Extensive experience in international, English-speaking, and multicultural environments. Experience managing large-scale, high-value and technically complex projects.

High level of English (C1 or equivalent) is essential. Other are a plus.
