The Role: International Trade Manager
Core Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the International commercial strategy, identifying new markets, customers, and regions to drive distribution, sales, and profit growth across trade and retail channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, acting as the primary commercial contact and ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Identify and unlock new distribution opportunities, including entry into new countries, channels, and strategic partners
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, NPD, Marketing, Regulatory) to ensure seamless execution across all international markets
  • Manage forecasting and demand planning for international accounts, ensuring accurate volume projections and stock availability
  • Ensure compliance with all market-specific regulatory, labelling, and import/export requirements
  • Drive consistency of brand positioning and customer experience across all international channels

Core Competencies
  • Minimum 3 years experience in international sales, business development, or account management
  • Track record of budget ownership and delivering against revenue and profit targets
  • Strong understanding of international trade compliance, export regulations, and customs processes
  • Experience leading Joint Business Planning with retail or distribution partners
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior level
  • Driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
