About the Role: Coordinator, Inventory Planning & Customization
Are you passionate about keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? As our Coordinator, Inventory Planning & Customization for Headwear & Other Categories , you'll be the go-to person for making sure our custom products are planned, approved, and ordered without a hitch. You will support inventory operations for Headwear and additional product categories ensuring accurate execution of custom purchasing, PPS approvals, and location split strategies while managing operational tasks, including database updates and supplier communications. The coordinator also acts as the customer service liaison for assigned categories. The role reports directly to the Manager, Inventory Planning & Customization

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Strategy and Planning:
Coordinate location split strategies for inventory across two warehouses, ensuring alignment with production and sales requirements.
Track inventory flow and reconcile discrepancies, keeping the database and planning tools updated daily.
Custom Purchasing and PPS Approvals:
Execute custom purchasing and PPS approvals for Headwear and other categories, ensuring timely and accurate order execution.
Submit and manage packing lists, distribution files, and documentation to freight forwarders, obtaining quotes as needed.
Customer Service Liaison:
Act as the primary customer service liaison for Headwear and other categories, providing updates and resolving inventory-related inquiries.
Operational and On-Site Support:
Collaborate with warehouse & Customer Service staff to resolve real-time issues.
Reconcile purchase order pricing and quantities with supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies and coordinating with Accounts Payable.
Product Development and Maintenance:
Manage database settings for styles, colors, and sizes, ensuring accurate inventory data for assigned categories.
Maintain a well-organized library of raw materials and samples, collaborating with the Hanover warehouse to ensure consistency.
Collaborate with Sales and Merchandising teams to direct factories to produce sales rep and tradeshow samples in a timely manner according to launch calendar
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field .
1+ years of experience in inventory operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination .
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with inventory systems and reporting tools.
Competencies:
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Proactive problem solver with strong communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Collaborative team player with a customer-first mindset.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a computer, phone, and copier.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Core business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional overtime, evening, and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
