Role Overview
Our Inventory Transfer Specialist is an integral part of STERIS Applied Sterilization Technologies (AST). With over 50 facilities worldwide, we offer contract sterilization services to various sectors, ensuring the safety of numerous products.
Join us in this critical sector by applying today to our Inventory Transfer Specialist role. You’ll work Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7 AM – 6 PM.
Daily Responsibilities
Under the gentle hum of the facility, your day includes:
Efficiently transferring products between unprocessed and processed areas, handling them with precision and care to ensure safety and accuracy. Monitoring equipment for optimal performance, troubleshooting minor issues, and ensuring cleanliness. Keeping comprehensive records for product handling and addressing discrepancies promptly. Upholding safety protocols by addressing alarms, and reporting anomalies to supervisors. Engaging in cross-training and sharing expertise with colleagues.
Qualifications
Completion of high school or equivalent education. Able to manage lifting tasks up to 50lbs, both seated and standing positions. One year of experience in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO, GMP). Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, in English. Basic proficiency with computers and arithmetic. Forklift experience is a plus. Compliance with NRC-required background checks.
