Location: Edinburgh City Centre (with travel across the city) Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week Pay Rate: £23.56 per hour Duration: Temporary - 6 months Start Date: ASAP

Pertemps are proud to be working with our large public sector organisation in Edinburgh to recruit an experienced Investigating Officer on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong investigative skills who thrives in a fast-paced and meaningful role.

Your Role: As an Investigating Officer, you'll be at the heart of crucial decision-making and resolution processes. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a varied caseload of investigations (disciplinary, grievance, whistleblowing) Conducting interviews and preparing thorough investigation reports Reviewing and recording all information accurately Analysing complex information and identifying key issues Escalating cases appropriately and liaising with internal stakeholders Producing detailed and accurate meeting notes Supporting related administrative and procedural tasks as needed What We're Looking For: A strong background in conducting investigations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A meticulous eye for detail and ability to remain impartial Confidence working independently and managing sensitive situations professionally
