Investment Banking Associate - Consumer Retail Group Coverage

Join us at Barclays Investment Bank as an Investment Banking Associate in Consumer Retail Group Coverage. In this role, you'll coordinate with team members on research, analysis of the Consumer Retail sector/companies, company valuations, financial modeling, marketing materials, and transaction documentation. Mergers and Acquisitions will be a central focus, and you'll play a key role in both origination and execution of these transactions.

Key Requirements

• Strong M&A and financing skills
• Experience in complex financial modeling, valuation techniques, presentation preparation, due diligence, and financial analysis
• Deal origination experience: generating ideas, preparing presentations, client follow-up
• Proven track record of executing transactions in the Consumer Retail Group

Valued Skills

• Experience working within Investment Banking Consumer Retail Group Coverage
• Understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment

Additional Information

This position is based in our Canary Wharf, London office. It is a Certified role under PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority regulations and may require relevant regulatory qualifications.
