Our client is a global US independent advisory firm - widely regarded as one of the top platforms globally - and is looking to hire an Associate into its Technology, Media & Telecommunications team in London.


This is a well-established, highly regarded team with a blue-chip client roster that includes some of the most recognisable names in UK tech, media and telecoms. If you're looking to deepen your sector expertise and work on genuinely high-profile mandates — this is a role worth knowing about.


You'll join a close-knit team of 10 investment bankers, advising FTSE 250 listed corporate clients across Tech, Media and Telcos.


Day-to-day, you'll be covering retained and target corporate clients, pitching to financial sponsors, and working across a varied deal flow spanning M&A and ECM.


What the role involves:

  • Supporting M&A, ECM and other transaction processes, liaising with clients, regulators and external advisers
  • Developing strong technical skills across financial modelling, valuation and sector analysis
  • Producing marketing materials and pitchbooks for corporate clients and financial sponsors
  • Servicing clients day-to-day, communicating clearly and delivering solutions using sector and product knowledge
  • Collaborating across a broader banking platform to deliver integrated solutions for clients


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bulge bracket investment bank is essential
  • Prior TMT exposure is preferred but not a hard requirement
  • Strong financial modelling skills and transactional experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — confident presenting to clients and senior executives
  • Creative, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to spot cross-product opportunities
  • A team player with real drive, dynamism and a commitment to delivering outstanding client outcomes
