My client is an independent securities business offering institutional and corporate clients leading investment banking, research, sales and trading services. Due to continued growth, the business is now looking to recruit a dedicated laywer, who will be responsible for taking a lead for all legal matters pertaining to the Capital Markets business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all transactions the Corporate Advisory team undertakes which includes IPOs; public market fundraisings; Sponsor and Nomad transactions and public company takeovers (acting for offeror and offeree). You will be a solicitor with a UK qualification (or have qualified as a lawyer in another common law jurisdiction) and have at least six years post qualification experience, gained in a leading corporate finance/equity capital markets team within a top-tier city practice. In-house experience, by way of secondment or permanent move, would be beneficial.

In addition to excellent technical experience, this person must bring a proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to legal matters and a proven ability to work collaboratively.
