My client has an urgent need for a Java Senior Software Engineer to join a rapidly-expanding and talented Engineering team. You will play a key role in the design and build of scalable, cloud-native applications across the full stack, working with microservices and automated delivery pipelines.
Java Senior Software Engineer Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and build high-quality, scalable, full stack Java-based software solutions
- Build Java/ Spring microservices and backend APIs for a variety of customer needs
- Develop both frontend and backend services using TypeScript, Node.js
- Build suitable infrastructure using Terraform/ CloudFormation and implement cloud-native and serverless architectures
- Build reliable and robust database solutions using both SQL and NoSQL
Java Senior Software Engineer Skills and Experience:
- In-depth software development expertise with Java and Spring/ Spring Boot
- Substantial experience building services using TypeScript and Node.js
- Detailed, hands-on knowledge of building microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong database experience within both SQL and NoSQL environments
- A thorough knowledge of both IaC (Terraform/ CloudFormation) and CI/ CD pipelines
- Experience with Golang, Rust and/ or Python would be ideal.

This role is based remotely with very occasional (optional) visits to the companys headquarters to meet the rest of the team
