Jetting Operative

Location: Cardiff
Salary: £14ph basic, £21 OT after 42.5, £28ph Sunday
Job Type: Full-time / Temp to Perm

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled jetting Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting inspections, maintenance, and repairing of drainage systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. This is a hands-on role requiring technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting drainage inspections using CCTV equipment
• Diagnose and resolve blockages, leaks, and structural issues
• Perform high-pressure water jetting and drain cleaning
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service on-site

Experience Required

• Previous experience in drainage or a similar field (preferred)
• Knowledge of drainage systems, plumbing, or civil works
• Ability to use CCTV drain survey equipment
• Own transport
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Qualifications

• Confined Space Certification
• High-Pressure Water Jetting Certification
• CSCS Card (Green)
