Brand New role in new technical centre.
Our new technical centre is developing Fixtures & Jigs for its sister company and third parties.
We are exceeding the capacity of our overflow suppliers so we are enhancing our in house team.
With a reputation for creating efficient, simple, cost-effective fixtures and tooling faster and at a lower price than the industry standard we can do this for others and utilise our capacity.
Having designed jigs and fixtures and continuing to do this for our own machining operation we are growing and now supporting some of our customers and suppliers and also taking this to market.
We are looking for someone with a practical skill set and practical approach that allows us to solve problems and make uncomplicated robust jigs and fixtures that help deliver reliable machining results.
With a flexible culture and a clearly focused goal this is the role for someone that thrives on solving the problem and getting the satisfaction from making the most effective Jig or fixture.
You will ideally have had 5 years experience of Jig and fixture design.
You will be driven by creating success for yourself and building a reputation for excellence.
Coming in here you will be a key part of the new team with all the advantages that brings.
You will probably have completed an apprenticeship programme and may have gained a HNC in Engineering or Manufacturing.
