Estimator – Interior Fit-Out / Joinery
Salary: Up to £50,000
I’m currently working with a well-established interior fit-out and specialist joinery contractor who is looking to bring in an experienced Estimator to support their growing pipeline of projects across commercial, retail, education and leisure sectors.
This is a great opportunity to join a business that delivers full turnkey fit-out solutions, with in-house capabilities including bespoke joinery, ceilings, flooring and partitioning.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of fit-out and joinery projects, working closely with the commercial and project delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates, tenders and pricing submissions
* Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
* Take-offs and measurement of materials, labour and subcontract packages
* Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
* Identify value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate project handover
* Attend client meetings where required to support tender submissions
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Estimator within Joinery interior fit-out or construction
* Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing and installation processes
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Commercial awareness
* Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Package
* Salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
