JOB BAND: B
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent, Part-time 17.5 hours per week (split across two weekly pattern : 21 hours week one and 14 hours week two)
DEPARTMENT: BBC Radio Cornwall
LOCATION: Truro
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £24,800 - £27,667 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

BBC Radio Cornwall is the BBC's Local Radio station for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This is an opportunity to be part of the team working towards our weekend programmes for Cornwall and Devon, supporting the producer and presenter in the studio. Every other week you will work alongside the David White Show team to deliver entertaining and up to date content on a Friday afternoon. You will be working on live output and turning content into stories for audiences our social media channels. We're looking for someone who's full of ideas, confident with communicating with our audience and thrives in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
