Trafalgar Talent is proud to be partnering with a fast-growing, modern business in Fareham that is looking to hire a Junior Accounts Assistant to join its expanding finance team.
This is a fully office-based role , ideal for someone early in their finance career who wants hands-on learning, real-time support, and daily interaction with an experienced team. If youre studying AAT (or planning to) and want proper exposure, not just transactional processing, this is a strong opportunity.
What Youll Be Doing Youll gain practical experience across:
Purchase ledger & invoice processing

Sales invoicing & credit control support

Bank & credit card reconciliations

Journal preparation

Supplier payment runs

VAT return data preparation (UK & international exposure)

Month-end and audit support

You wont be siloed, youll be involved across the function.

What Theyre Looking For Essential
Basic understanding of bookkeeping

Studying towards AAT Level 3

Previous finance or accounts experience

Experience using Xero

Attitude and willingness to learn will carry a lot of weight.
