Junior Buyer / Purchasing Administrator

We are seeking a Junior Buyer / Purchasing Administrator to join a busy team in Andover. This is a great opportunity for someone with purchasing experience or an electrical wholesaling background who is looking to develop their career in procurement.

Main Duties
Raise and process purchase orders accurately and on time Order and manage materials for ongoing projects Coordinate with electricians in the field to ensure timely deliveries Liaise with suppliers and negotiate lead times where needed Work closely with internal teams to support smooth operations Maintain accurate records of purchases and stock levels
Skills and Knowledge
1–2 years’ purchasing, procurement, or buying experience or experience in an electrical wholesaler environment Strong organisational and time management skills Good communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to prioritise and work well in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £30,000 per annum Hours: between 8:00am – 6:00pm – 40 hours 21 days holiday + bank holidays Free on-site parking Pension scheme Supportive team environment with scope for progression
