Location: London Office Based EC1V 7LQ (Mon-Thurs in office, Fri remote)

As a Junior Category Manager at Wayfair, you'll be at the core of our commercial operations — managing a portfolio of suppliers and helping shape the future of home retail. You’ll own the performance of your category, use data to drive smart decisions, and work cross-functionally to fuel business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who loves a challenge, thrives on data, and wants to work in a fast-paced, digital-first environment where impact happens fast.

What You’ll Do

Manage a large portfolio of suppliers across a specific product category

Build strategies to grow revenue and improve profitability

Analyse performance trends and pivot plans to meet evolving business goals

Conduct market research and identify new opportunities

Build trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners

Negotiate pricing and promotions that make commercial sense

Expand product selection by identifying gaps and sourcing new suppliers

Partner closely with merchandising, marketing, and operations to execute initiatives

What You’ll Need

Experience in management consulting, eCommerce, category management, or a similarly strategic/commercial role

Strong interest in buying, category management, or supplier relations

Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with C-level suppliers ️

Organised and detail-oriented — you thrive managing multiple priorities

Curious mindset and passion for digging into data to find answers

Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action

Proficiency in Excel and confidence working with large datasets
