Job Description
Role: Junior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)
Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing electrical systems ( lighting, power, fire alarms etc) for buildings in accordance with building standards and best practice. Assist with detailed lighting calculations, cable sizing etc using Electrical Design software. Produce drawings using AutoCAD and Revit/BIM software. Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, reports. Participate in site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure design compliance.
Requirements
Education: A third-level degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit/BIM experience . Experience: 1+ years of experience in a design environment, with a strong grasp of fundamental electrical principles. An understanding of construction sequencing would be advantageous. Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management.
