Field Service Engineer - Inspection Systems (Food & Beverage)\n\nWe are working with a leading manufacturer of high-speed inspection and quality control systems used across the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sectors.\n\nLocation: Central England (Manchester across to Hull down to M4 corridor)\nSalary: £44,000 basic | OTE £55,000+ (overtime) | Company vehicle\n\nThe Role:\n\nService, maintenance, and installation of inspection systems (vision, X-ray, fill level, leak detection)\nElectrical fault finding on high-speed production and packaging equipment\nPPM and breakdown support across customer sites\nCustomer-facing role within manufacturing environmentsRequirements:\n\nFormal qualification in Electrical Engineering (essential)\nElectrical apprenticeship or equivalent\nStrong fault-finding skills on industrial/automation equipment\nExperience in food, beverage, packaging, or pharma advantageousWhat's on Offer:\n\nStructured training including regular trips to Germany\nClear progression opportunities due to team succession planning\nLong-term career with strong retention and internal development\nOvertime available to achieve £55k+ earningsThe Ideal Candidate:\n\nEarly to mid-career engineer looking to develop long-term\nProactive, reliable, and keen to progress within a specialist OEM\nOpen to travel and occasional overnight staysWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
