Job Description:

Assist in maintaining COMAH compliance, including preparation and updates of Safety Reports and the Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP). Support site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate major hazards. Contribute to emergency response planning and coordination with local authorities. Maintain accurate safety documentation, including inspection records, incident reports, and training logs. Participate in incident investigations and support the development of corrective actions. Facilitate safety training and awareness initiatives related to COMAH and site-specific protocols. Liaise with internal teams and external regulators (e.g., HSE, Environment Agency) during audits and inspections. Monitor operational controls to ensure risks are managed in line with ALARP principles and the site's safety management system. Support implementation of relevant standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
