Job Description

Our client, a multi-billion dollar AUM hedge fund, is looking to hire a HR Business Partner for their London office.

This newly created role will support all client groups, albeit with a focus to have ownership for EMEA Graduate and Analyst programs. Working directly with a HR Director that is creating people strategy for Analyst and Graduate talent for the entire firm, the hire will step into a multi-faceted role, divided between leveraging one’s generalist skillset and scaling a learning curve by actively working on new change management and transformation projects, employee experience initiatives and helping adjust the firms organizational infrastructure as it continues to expand globally.

The hire will step into a highly autonomous role and be expected to leverage their strong generalist skillset managing all facets of the employee lifecycle and leading on cyclical processes including annual reviews, talent road mapping, performance management and reviews. The hire will also take an active role in the firm’s push to make HR a more data driven function, leveraging new analytics and AI tools to track employee engagement metrics, compensation benchmarking and rolling out new talent and performance management frameworks. The hire will also take an active role in workforce planning for the firm’s Analyst, Graduate (and most likely also intern) programs for EMEA business lines, working with senior management to create development plans and explore potential improvements that may be made to existing HR processes from onboarding through to ER case management.

Candidates should have 4 -8 years of experience as a HR Advisor / HR Business Partner at a hedge fund, leading investment bank or asset manager with a strong generalist skillset and ideally experience working with Analyst / early career programs. Candidates with strong academic profiles and a track record of project / value-add work are strongly preferred.

This is a business-critical role, so our client is committed to offering the successful candidate a strong increase on his/her current base and a year one target TC range of up to £150k (with flexibility for strong candidates depending on experience). The firm also offer a fantastic benefits package and offer support for additional professional qualifications.
