We're looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Purchaser of indirect products and consumables to join our friendly team and play a key role in ensuring our products are delivered on time, in full, and to the highest standards.In this role, you'll work closely with the wider supply chain team-supporting purchasing, planning, and day-to-day coordination of consumables that keep our site moving. These involve all non-finished product materials and goods we use across the site, such as office equipment, PPE, cleaning materials, warehouse equipment and much more. From manufacturing to marketing, (D)edication, (E)njoyment, (C)ourage, (H)onesty, (R)elationships and (A)mbition are at the heart of our everyday operations and the way we do business.What you'll be doingConverting purchase requisitions into purchase orders and sending them to suppliersRunning and updating min-max reports to keep consumables stockedTracking expected deliveries and chasing anything outstandingApplying for import licences via the Home OfficeSupporting projects to source new or alternative consumable itemsCreating visual charts and reports for the departmentHelping to update job dates within Oracle when neededEnsuring all data is handled in line with GDPR and business requirementsWorking closely with finance, warehouse, procurement, and other key teams to improve processesPlacing cost-effective orders within agreed frameworksSupporting general planning administrationMaintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environmentFollowing all safety, quality, and environmental proceduresDisposing of waste safely and recycling wherever possibleWhat success looks likeStrong supplier OTIF (on time, in full) performanceAccurate, timely purchasing and reportingSmooth coordination across supply chain and planning teamsWhat you'll bringA confident approach when communicating with suppliers and various stakeholders/staff across the manufacturing site.
