Junior Maintenance Engineer

My client, an engineering company based in Wokingham is looking for a Junior Maintenance Engineer on a temporary basis.

The role will be needed on a temporary basis until end March 2026 / beginning April to help with the moving of their current engineering facility.

**This is an immediate start so please only apply if you are available immediately or within a couple of days following a successful interview**

Main Duties:

* Disconnect machinery.

* Disconnect hydraulic pipes and plumbing pipes from the machines.

* Prep machines for the move which will include oil draining and cleaning.

* Loading items/equipment to smaller containers ready for transport.

* Experience with electrics would be an advantage but not necessary.

* Other general help packing moving etc.

* Role until end of March/beginning of April when the move is complete.

Person:

* Mechanical background – any knowledge of CNC machines would be an advantage but not essential.

* Electrical knowledge also welcome but not essential.

* Would suit candidates from a car mechanics background.

Hours of work are days, 08.00 – 16.00 Monday to Friday covering 37.5 hours per week.

Hourly rate negotiable dependent on level of experience – typically between £14-17 per hour.
