Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor West London / Berkshire / Oxfordshire Salary: Competitive (DOE) An established and growing M&E contractor is seeking a Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding West Region, covering areas including West London, Berkshire, and Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' Quantity Surveying experience who is looking to develop a long-term career within the mechanical and electrical sector. Role Overview You will support the commercial delivery of commercial fit-out projects, working on schemes with M&E values ranging from £3m-£15m. The role offers hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle, with structured support and training. Key Responsibilities Assist in the commercial management of M&E packages from pre-construction through to final account Support with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers Assist in preparing valuations, variations, and cost reports Help monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts Work closely with project and site teams to track progress and commercial performance Support the management of subcontractor accounts and payments Assist in identifying commercial risks and opportunities Experience & Requirements 1-2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role Interest in developing a career within the M&E / Building Services sector Basic understanding of construction commercial processes Degree or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar (preferred) Development & Support You will work closely with an experienced Commercial Manager, receiving full support, mentorship, and training to help you progress your career within the M&E sector.
