Are you a Plumber or Pipefitter looking to come off the tools and move into an office-based role? This is an excellent opportunity to transition into mechanical estimating with full training and long-term career progression.

We’re working with a well-established mechanical contractor who is looking to bring in a Junior Mechanical Estimator to support their growing pre-construction team.

The Role:

Assisting with mechanical tenders and cost estimates

*

Taking off quantities from drawings and specifications

*

Supporting senior estimators with pricing and submissions

*

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for quotes

*

Learning mechanical estimating software and processes

Ideal Background:

*

Time-served Plumber or Pipefitter (or similar mechanical trade)

*

On-site experience within commercial or industrial projects

*

Keen to learn estimating and pre-construction

*

Good IT skills and willingness to develop office-based skills

*

Organised, reliable, and detail-focused
