About the Role\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading Building Services and Facilities Management organisations as a Project Manager.\n\nIn this role, you will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of Facilities Infrastructure (FI) and Capital Planned Maintenance (CPM) projects, ensuring seamless integration with Business as Usual (BAU) operations.\n\nThis position offers excellent long-term career development within a technically complex and fast-paced environment, where you will play a key role in maintaining operational continuity while delivering strategic upgrades and infrastructure improvements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProject Leadership & Delivery\n\nLead FI and CPM projects, ensuring a zero-risk approach to live operations at all stages.\n\nManage installations in line with design intent, technical specifications, and approved drawings.\n\nOversee commissioning activities, ensuring works are witnessed, validated, and formally signed off.\n\nAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for existing site infrastructure, supporting Client Services and Project Design teams.\n\nProject Coordination & Governance\n\nReview and manage project documentation across installation, testing, commissioning, and handover phases.\n\nCoordinate project activities with BAU teams to minimise operational disruption.\n\nManage project variations in line with contractual and governance procedures.\n\nMaintain daily communication with CS FI and CS CPM teams to ensure alignment and delivery progress.\n\nContractor & Asset Management\n\nMonitor contractor performance against programme milestones, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.\n\nSafeguard the integrity of existing client assets and infrastructure throughout project execution.\n\nSkills & Attributes\n\nStrong leadership capability with the ability to prioritise and resolve issues under pressure.\n\nHighly organised with excellent planning, coordination, and time management skills.\n\nClear and confident communicator, able to work independently and collaboratively.\n\nProactive, self-motivated, and accountable with a solution-focused mindset.\n\nService -driven approach with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.\n\nIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.\n\nExperience using CAFM systems for project and asset planning.\n\nKnowledge & Experience\n\nSolid understanding of the Building Services and Facilities Management sector.\n\nHealth & Safety qualification (essential).\n\nMinimum five years’ post-training experience in a relevant technical or project delivery role.\n\nExperience within corporate head office or large-scale commercial environments.\n\nProven ability to manage multiple stakeholders independently and within large account structures.\n\nFlexible approach to working patterns to meet client and operational requirements.\n\nCore Competencies\n\nPerformance & Results Delivery\n\nLeadership, Teamwork & Collaboration\n\nEffective Communication\n\nFlexibility & Enthusiasm\n\nContinuous Improvement & Change Management\n\nProactive Leadership & Accountability\n\nProblem Solving & Decision Making\n\nSelf- Management\n\nCreative Thinking & Innovation\n\nPlanning, Organisation & Project Management\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary of £ 55,000+\n\nOvertime opportunities\n\nClear career progression pathway\n\nOpportunity to deliver high-impact infrastructure projects within a leading UK organisation
