The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef who will be responsible for the preparation of Food ensuring that all standards are performed in order to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and increased guest loyalty. As Junior Sous Chef your key responsibilities include: Ensure each section in the kitchen is running efficiently & effectively at all times & all staff in department adheres to hotel standards. Ensure and control that all food prepared/served in the hotel is according to the standard recipesand presentation as set by the Head Chef. to supervise ordering, stock control and storagein order to maintain budgeted food costand minimise wastage. Ensure that you and junior staff are fully aware of the safe maintenance and handling of all equipment and chemicals used in the kitchen. Be responsible forsupplier liaison. To control and follow up any problems with supply, ordering or quality of products. To support your Manager in order to improve the operations at work. Fully conversant with COSHH regulations and Risk Assessments for the department.
