A fantastic opportunity for a passionate senior Junior Sous Chef to join our experienced and talented kitchen brigade. Set in the heart of Marylebone, KIMA is a sea food restaurant offering a la carte and fin to gill tasting menus, combining the contemporary culinary perspective with the famous Greek hospitality. We pride ourselves in the quality of our food, cooking with the freshest, seasonal, high-quality ingredients, creating dishes that reflect our Greek culinary heritage embracing the use-all, waste-not philosophy. You will be expected to work at highest level and capable of working through a busy a la carte service. Having previous good experience and knowledge on fish and sea food would be highly recommended. Staff will be fully trained by our team of Chefs, and they will learn new techniques and methods of cooking. Salary: up to £37,700 per year Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week Requirements: - Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. - Good collaboration skills, working closely with the Chefs team on new dishes and execution. - Expertise in filleting, t-boning, cooking in a quality focused kitchen environment - Maintain freshness, quality, and consistency in all fish and seafood preparation. - Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering - Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-end hospitality venue. - Strong leadership and management skills to inspire and guide a team of pastry chefs. - Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
