Job Description

Hours: Monday–Friday, 10am–7pmContract: Full-time

We’re looking for a Junior Transport Planner to join a small, friendly, and supportive team, where everyone pitches in and helps each other out. In this role, you’ll create efficient, compliant, and cost-effective delivery routes across a local network. You’ll work closely with the Operational and Transport Teams to maximise fleet utilisation, improve performance, and ensure exceptional service.

What you’ll do

Plan and optimise daily local and delivery routes Schedule loads to meet on-time collection and delivery targets Manage overflow deliveries through pallet networks Ensure routes comply with drivers’ hours, WTD, and vehicle weight regulations Review route performance and identify improvements Co-ordinate own fleet and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions Build strong relationships with partner hauliers Communicate effectively across teams to meet operational requirements Use TMS systems and follow internal processes

What you’ll bring
