The Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts within the logistics sector. This role focuses on revenue growth, account development, and new business acquisition while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve and exceed revenue and profit targets across nominated accounts
* Develop and deliver strategic Account Plans to drive sustainable growth
* Identify and secure new business opportunities
* Manage customer contracts, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure service excellence
* Act as the main point of contact for key customers, building strong, long-term relationships
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
* Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote the full range of company solutions
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
* Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular performance reports
About You
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Air Freight within the logistics industry
* Specialist knowledge of Airfreight Dangerous Goods (Air & Road)
* Proven track record of achieving revenue and profit targets
* Strong new business development and account growth experience
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
* Commercially astute with experience managing budgets, contracts, and KPIs
* Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
* Full clean driving licence
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (with flexibility as required).
UK and occasional international travel may be required
