Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Key Account Manager to lead and develop a Key Account Management team while managing a portfolio of strategic B2B clients. This role is responsible for driving client satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth, while delivering against annual sales targets and supporting wider business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of Key Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Own strategic relationships with key B2B clients, acting as the main point of contact
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and identify upsell opportunities
  • Deliver against annual sales budgets and contribute to overall business profitability
  • Monitor pipeline activity, CRM accuracy, and forecast performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Provide regular performance insights, reports, and forecasts to senior leadership


Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing sales or account management teams
  • Strong background in strategic B2B account management, ideally with large or complex clients
  • Results-driven with a consultative, solution-focused sales approach
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring and developing teams
  • Confident working cross-functionally and independently


Additional Requirements

  • Experience within the energy sector or a regulated environment preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Highly organised, professional, and customer-focused
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
