This is a fantastic opportunity to guide pupils through Years 5 and 6 as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons for KS2 pupils in line with the National Curriculum
* Promote a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic growth and confidence
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing targeted support to meet individual needs
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil achievement and well-being
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leaders to maintain high standards across the school
* Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's values
What We Are Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 or Year 6 preferred)
* A confident, creative, and motivating teaching style
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the transition to secondary education
* Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to children's welfare
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* Right to work in the UK
