£12.21 per hour, term-time only

20 hours per week, working 10:30am to 3:00pm, with a 30 minute unpaid break - Monday to Friday

People are the most important ingredient in our business recipe, and we are looking for a Kitchen Porter for our school site in Ilford, IG2. You will be reporting into the Chef Manager at the main school site.

Responsibilities

• Have good communication skills at all levels
• General kitchen duties
• Using a mechanical dishwasher and sinks to wash up
• Putting away deliveries with good stock practice
• Carry out pot washing and dish cleaning
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
• Undertaking all basic training and work effectively with colleagues as part of a team
• Speaking to each customer and team member in a friendly, helpful and professional manner

The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
