KS1 1:1 Teaching Assistant

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's educational journey by providing tailored, consistent, and person-centred support.
This is a full-time role supporting 8.30am-3.30pm.
The Role
* Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with autism, both inside and outside the classroom.
* Implement and adapt strategies to support communication, learning, and social development.
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to follow and contribute to the child’s EHCP.
* Use visual aids and structured routines.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that promotes independence and confidence.
You Will Need
* Experience supporting children with autism or additional needs (preferred).
* A calm, resilient, and flexible approach.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build trust and rapport with pupils and staff.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
