KS1 Cover Teacher – Full-Time or Part-Time

A supportive primary school in South Normanton are seeking a Key Stage 1 Cover Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early learning, enjoys creating engaging and inclusive classroom environments, and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

The role will involve:

Delivering high-quality teaching across KS1, in line with the national curriculum

Creating a nurturing, structured and engaging learning environment

Supporting pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing and early development

*

Managing behaviour positively and maintaining clear routines

*

Working collaboratively with the wider school team

We’re looking for someone who:

Holds QTS (UK qualified)

Has experience teaching in KS1 (ECTs welcome)

*

Is adaptable, reliable and confident stepping into different classes

*

Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills

*

Is committed to inclusive, child-centred practice
