What You’ll Be Doing: Leading a Year 1 or Year 2 class with full teaching responsibilities Creating a warm, structured and stimulating learning environment Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum Supporting early reading, phonics and foundational maths skills Assessing progress and using data to inform teaching Working closely with parents, teaching assistants and colleagues to support every child’s learning journey
