To register as a teacher, you must meet the core criteria. A minimum of 2 months of teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements), you have the right to work in the UK, and you must have QTS. If you don't have QTS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years.
